SOCIAL REASONS

Sudan’s culture has been impacted because of the British taking over and taking power. In the South of Sudan, they did not accept Islam and allowed Christian missionaries to come and teach the people Christianity. Not only did the British take over, the France took over, Bahr el Ghazal, and the Western Upper Nile up to Fashoda. In the 1800’s slavery was starting and turning into a business.
